Supporting Diversity in Small Business

We are proud this year to be a Small and Mighty sponsor of the Top 50 Neurodivergent Women List from Women Beyond the Box. You can find the list of these incredible females here

When we first heard about the sponsorship opportunity, it was a very different thing for us, but nonetheless an obvious ‘yes’ as we are all for all things inclusive. But it also got us to talking in the office, as you do, about neurodiversity and our own experience of it (and in some cases with it). We then moved on to how we help our clients where neurodiversity might present challenges for them in business, and what they have said about what we do for them.

It turns out, we can and do help… much more than we first thought and in ways we hadn’t really appreciated.

For clients who struggle to answer the phone, a call answering service is a great way to delegate that work whilst still offering your own clients the ability to engage with your business by phone. No business telephone number can be exclusive for those who are less tech able or inclined. A call answering service means you exclude no-one from becoming a customer.

Email can be an issue for those prone to ADHD, procrastination or a tendency to overthink their writing skills. Many of us can appear to ‘bash out’ an email in no time at all, and for some of us, it takes an age of time and a load of anxiety – before, during and after the message is sent… if it ever gets sent.

We can draft and agree templates, send replies to standard enquiries and draft replies to more complex enquiries to help ease the process and increase the pace of reply.

Dyslexia can also mean replies take extra time, and our job here is to save all our clients time. Our clients’ customers then get better service themselves, with more timely replies and our clients can enjoy a peace of mind knowing that their inbox is managed and they’re free to work on other things.

Similarly, answering webchat, social media messages can be equally tricky. We are here to help with them all. It’s a pleasure and an honour to keep on learning how we can be of greater and better, more comprehensive and understanding service to an ever broader and more inclusive range of business owners.
