To recruit or not to recruit, a virtual question?

Gary’s business is busy, fabulously busy but still young and whilst turnover is exceeding expectation – remarkable in these times – overheads still feel low and business margin or profitability still feels under pressure.

Gary uses the Virtual PA Co service in the most optimal way, he gets what we are about in the way our founder intended. We answer his calls, deal with the call, give information on the service, understands the benefits of what Gary offers enough to – almost inadvertantly – sell it! close the sale, books the appointment, takes the payment, types the report, emails and posts it. Gary doesn’t have to worry much about doing what he does best. Meanwhile his clients have, in the main, no idea that he is a one man band, in fact because he subcontracts some work and does some work himself, most of his clients think that his is a corporate company and he is an employee.

Recently his success meant his bill with Virtual PA Co exceeded what he might have expected to pay as a salary to a full time PA. He doesn’t have space to accommodate a PA but still, the size of the bill meant it was sensible to consider other options available. Whilst Virtual PA Co offers personalised service through small teams working together, Gary had benefited at times from three calls being answered at once whilst a report was being typed. Conversely he hadn’t had to pay at slower times when no-one was calling and there was no admin to do.
